A sampling of Tom's projects:
McDonald's Corporation, Business-to-business online promotion
This purpose of the project was to create a subsection for the McDonald's website that would be an interactive, fun promotion for kids and adults. The concept was to create an online Monopoly game that supported the Monopoly Sweepstakes promotion happening in the stores. This included the development of a Shockwave game of trivia that would allow the player to open a vault and collect Monopoly tokens. The client was DDB Needham of Chicago.
Wisconsin Energy, Corporate communications project
Wisconsin Energy is a major power company, and the goal of their website was to facilitate communication between the company and the public. In addition to general company information, the site navigation was designed to lead the visitor to consumer-oriented articles, offers, and helpful tips.
Oscar Mayer, Business-to-consumer online promotion
The client was J.Walter Thompson of Chicago. The purpose was to create an interactive site that was fun for kids and informative for adults. Tom created the virtual lunchbox concept, as well as the initial graphics. This project required extensive coordination between JWT, their client, and outside vendors. As with all successful websites, this one has been updated and changed as time passes.
